Thanks are in order from me
firstly I want to thank all the members who made the effort to attend either for the full weekend or for the Saturday rally or for just the Sunday main event cheers ALL.
The Gathering - AGM was truly a team event by ALL the committee members, they are your silent heroes.
As a committee we have our own section for organising the show there have been over 1230 individual posts put in this section to bring the show together.
Topics such as Raffle prizes taking over 40 posts to sort, The companies that sponsored the prizes just didn't give us the gear we had to plead and beg to get them, taking hours on the telephone as well as dozens of e-mails. nice one Dano
The effort put in so everyone attending recieving goodie bags, wrist bands and those nice souvenirs grill badges for all that attended the rally etc
liaising with the Uttoxeter management for the venue. Cheers Gammy
All the publicity we did for the show, advertising in Practical Classic car mag to just name one.
All the graphics for the show and design work done and printed off, Cheers Tian
The "Cool Wall" done By Yomp took ages to sort e-mailing every member collecting the photos getting them printed and then spending ALL Friday afternoon assembling the display board and sticking the pics onto it and then when all of you had gone home dismantling it all.
Managing all the traders that attended and being disappointed when some didn't bother showing up
cheers Dano
Sorting the mini website out with links to buying tickets etc took some sorting and effort cheers Kenno and ew
These are just a few of the things as a team we have had to sort and organise
so from me
Thank you
in no order

I came down on the friday night and was welcomed by the Milton Keynes bunch, they were so funny. Good old Jelly Belly on the BBQ, keeping eveyone fed. Funk's magic chilli sauce, like an idiot I had 2 lots :redfaced:.
Shakka drove 600 miles from Scotland, only to break down just literally outside the gates to the course. Blown top hose, the AA got him going with a repair. On Sat morning I rang every where I knew in Derby, as it is just down the road, to get him a replacement, none to be had, so we hustled around one of the Auto Jumble traders and after a bit of searching the Bloke found a top hose for him ONLY a Quid Big thanks for that. If your reading this you know who you are. We borrowed a srew driver off one of the other traders, so we could swap it over. I explained the situation to Jelly and he produced a bottle of coolant and some water and Shakka was bakka in the running lol. A bit later on I was walking around the show and shine bit and another had a top hose gone, he managed to get one for a lot more than a quid, so while he was off Good Old Jelly to the rescue again with water etc. So a big Thanks to Jelly.
I really enjoyed the weekend and had a great laugh. I made an 80's funk cd up for the journey and whilst I was putting my tent up I had it playing and I got complimented on the music (in anice way, bought back some memories for him I guess) everyone was so friendly and laid back.
Looking forward to next years..

and for a time i though i was going to die
a good night with a cracking set of lads and ladets the megaphone idea was a good one and i would have seen the funny side but the revenge would have been sweet.
