Here's a story

I was in the local motor factors buying some service equipment, the woman on the counter said that she owned a mk1 cabbie.

I said about the gathering, saying that she could help numbers and meet new people etc etc, but then she told me a few interesting things..

Her golf is (I believe) a Helios blue G reg, which she's owned for all 21 years of its existence 8O and it has 67,000 original miles on it, AND it has the original paint and hood!!!!

After learning this I was more or less begging her to turn up when she aked where it was happening

"uttoxeter race course" I said
"oh wow, I won Miss Uttoxeter 1973" she replied

She doesn't seem too interested in coming but I need to keep trying to convince her..

Well… i never thought this would gain THIS type of interest

Anyways boys - she's married (I think) but I've given her the website URL so hopefully she may show her face… literally or otherwise
