Go on then.. I'll second this. Although I could only make the Sunday, its evident how much work goes into this event. I'm gonna do my best to do the whole weekend next time. I always have that feeling of having missed out.

So yes, agreed, a massive thanks to all involved and a much deserved member of the year to cabrioanna. Always in the thick of it with a smile on her face..

thank you to all who organised the weekend.
It was great. Well done.
I came by myself again, but hardly stopped chatting to different people all weekend.
It was brilliant seeing and chatting with folks who I last saw four years ago at the AGM 2012.
the venue this year, I thought, was much better.
See you next year.

Same same guys. There's clearly a lot of effort put into these events and for the ghost attendees like myself, it's very much appreciated. Drive out route was excellent, certainly showed off those cracking little hamlets that don't exist North of the border.

The herb garden didn't appear as fully stocked as the campsite, I'm  sure there was a light scent is something that didn't resemble marjoram, thyme or lavender :-) was very nice though. Lol

Once again. Many thanks to those that arranged this event. (and a personal thanks to crazyfist, that situation could have got worse… :-))

You've lost me on that one Craig?

I'm gonna echo the above as well, even though we have to quite a bit of running around it's still fun for us, and from about 5pm onwards it kind of runs itself, so I get to chat with the friends I've made in the club in the last 9 years and make knew ones - it really is the people that make this club, it's such a good vibe all weekend, really friendly!

It makes every single minute I spend worth while when you see people having fun and smiling :)

Yes, I too want to thank the whole organisation for putting up such a great event, it made the long drive fully worth it. Loved meeting and seeing all of the Golf mk1s and their friendly owners!

Also a thank you to the Scottish Regionals for the great Friday evening and the Sunday breakfast!

That's what we like to here! We wanna see some creative fancy dress as well ;)

For you all, the long drive mentioned above was from Belgium!

Personally it was a highlight of my weekend being able to come over and tell you guys that you'd win a top 5 trophy :)
