I know i said eairler in my thread that i was starting on the front of the mk1 and working my way back but all has changed as im off work now for 2 weeks im hoping to get the rear end sorted so i decided to take the rear drivers side arch and and part of the rear panel back to bare metal so heres a few pictures.

yes mate :evil: the silly wanker who owned it last has just bodged over holes with filler im not a very happy bunny.
Was hoping to get the passenger rear done today but as usual we have poor weather AGAIN im seriously thinking about getting a canopy

finally got to do part of the passenger rear arch today with the weather not being that bad.
Take a look at what i found
As you can see its not a pretty sight at closer inspection the inner arch has some dammage will i need to get the whole inner arch replaced or will a good bodyshop person be able fix this one?
im hopping to get the rear wheel off tomorrow to have a proper look inside the arch

dossent look like thairs any metal thair mate will finish takeing all the filler off today so i can have a better look.
I can tell you somthing after stripping most of it back yesterday im in 2 states of mind weather to keep it and get it sorted or just get rid of the car

well got nearly every little bit of filler off and im left with well not much metal atall. The inner arch will defently need replacing as seen in the pictures below.

well since the lower front panel is a bit mangeld i got hold of one from ebay for ?1.20 so thats all the panels i need now apart from the inner arch it just seem's like it's one thing after another and pound after pound i just hope it will be worth it

im hoping to have it ready for the show season next year well thats if i can get the money together for the paint job as its not going to be cheap also im going to be a dad my little one's due in march BABY = MONEY
