First things first the engine is running but need some help with the wiring. I've got 2 flashing lights on the dash oil and water so can anyone tell me first where the sender for the water temp is and the colour of the wire and same for the oil pressure sender location and wire colour as I've got a fist full of wires and no idea where they go thanks very much

Gees! you have'nt had much help on here with the 16v swap have ya.
If you was local, i'd of had it wired up within an hour or 2. Least you have it running now, even though its taken months.
The oil pressure senders are above the oil filter mate. The water temp is on the side of the head.
Spread the wires out that you have left and take a pic. I'll try pinpoint where they go then . You should've marked where each wire went before you removed the 8v

Just a quick Q where do you get all the rear brake conversion kit from.

Try the yel/red wire on 1 of the senders on the side of the head mate as thats where mine goes
The yelllow looks like it goes to the oil filter housing along with the Blue wire. There should be 2 oil senders above the oil filter.

make your own, splice the mk2 16v and the mk1 one together. no clearance issues like the 4-1
