I visited the bodyshop earlier and its starting to take shape.

They had a few customers who didnt drop cars off this week so they pretty much just worked on mine.

Theres still quite a bit that needs doing but its getting there.

Excuse the poor quality phone pics.

I love the colour, and with the badges n decals, It's going to look amazing!

Are you finding it stressful Ceri?

I certainly did this time last year, whenI was hunting an original wing and sorting the hood etc!!

I was at the beginning Dan but luckily the only parts I need to source are new side trim, side indicators and windscreen seal so quite easy to find.

I think the most stressful bit is funding it all :-)

Thats what I was dreading the most, luckily it was just the slam panel and filler neck hole needed attention.

I knew they did before hand so not to bad.

My other half's daily is a mk2 1.8T, and newly converted, so I'm still not allowed to touch. Boys and their toys!

Love the build thread anyway :)

Picked up this little kit earlier from my local poundland.

If any of you have fitted the badge refurb kit then you will know that they slightly overhang on some letters which in time will lead to them peeling off.

Was going to use a stanley knife to trim any excess off where needed but mine was to bulky to use.

Should be much easier with this kit.
