what appened? was a van parked on the flyover? is the speed limit not 70 mph?

Must've been a 60 limit, never would've got caught at 71 in a 70…

Speed limits for all vans with a GVW of over 2000KG on a dual carriage way is 60mph. 50mph on a single carriageway……….
Not a lot of people know that!

I thought this post had been resurrected by DAZ1971 as we had eyeball contact on the M5 in Bristol today.
What are the chances of that happening?!

GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) for a transit connect, varies between models but around 2240KG.

VW Caddy vans come into the same category by around 100kg over the 2000KG limit.
