Keep looking at some of these on ebay, but boy they're enough money

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=301909797451&alt=web
The question is will they fit under standard arches

Theyre 7x15 et 25 and et38

Im going to be going pretty low on air so need the tyres to tuck. Can anyone advise?

Cheers neil

Ouch there not cheap!

You would be hoping to get rubber at that price too.  ;)

Cheers Hugh.

They will fit fine, here's my rs001, with 165:50/15s, a bit of camber and 15mm spacers.

I'm running coilovers

Mine are et 25, rs001

They look great. Would be good to see a better picture of the amount of stretch you get with a 165 tyre on a 7" rim.

I've been looking at some wheels on eBay that are 7" wide et25 but wasn't sure if they would poke out too far.

The bible for tyre stretch is tyrestretch.com. com which shows pictures of lots of tyre choices on lots of different widths of wheel. 165 45 15 on a 7j rim is very stretched. Plus only nankang make them as far as I can see

I've been on there but it's hard to see sometimes and varies with tyre makes.

What make tyres have you got? So you have got 7" wide, ET25 and a 15mm spacer? Or have they become ET25 once the spacer is fitted?

Currently I have 7x15 et 20 on the front with a 175 50 15 tmp_14137-IMG-20160412-WA0012-995892224.jpg as much camber as can get on the coil overs and wound them right down. It didn't rub with the wheels straight but I wouldn't want to drive it on the road like that

I've got nankang ns2's.

7" wide as standard and et25. The spacers are in addition to give me 15mm more stance, so rightly or wrongly is that now et10??

They work perfectly with no issues

Hope them pics help

Thanks for the pictures, looks great.

They look so much further out on the tintop then the cabby and especially with the cabby having 15mm spacers.

Do you think 7 x 15's et25 with 165 50 tyres would be ok without camber? My arches won't be rolled and will have the gti arch spats

Yeah I think you will be fine without spacers and camber.

Original wheels are around et35, so 10mm out with et25 and narrower tyres I think will be ok.

Here's a pic without my camber as I've had it removed, spacers are still on though…

I didn't like the way it drove with camber so undid it.

It's a good job I take loads of pics lol

Thanks for those pics.

Your wheels sit great and mine would be at least 15mm further in the arches so plenty of clearance. Do you have rolled arches?

No worries, I've asked peeps for loads of help so I know how it feels.

Feels good to finally help someone out.

My arches aren't rolled

Appreciate all the help thanks. So last question I promise..
So these 2 pictures are ET25 with 15mm spacers and no camber? Looks to be loads of space.

Yep that's right, there is a tiny tiny amount of camber on the front.

The rears have none and the camber shims have now been removed.

No probs re the questions.

Loving these, I'm going to jump on the band waggon now. I'm after a set of RS but I'm still way to confused. So on my tintop I would be okay with 15" 7j e25 all round  O_o? I have coilovers and mk3 brake upgrade on the front?
I've been looking for ages but so confused. Don't really want stretched tyres. Are they likely to come off?

They will work on your tin top, I don't know about mk3 callipers tho?

It's minor stretch and nothing silly. You don't have to go for stretched tyres, you could do 185 or 195s..

I may sell mine at the end of the year, give me a shout if your interested.
