Throttle cable lenght

Hello guys and girls just finishing of my 1.8t agu conversion and I have come to fitting the mk2 golf 1.3 throttle cable and it's to short. I am running a obp pedal box though so not sure if this is why.  has anyone had the same problem or does anyone know which cable will be long enough please. Or any advice would be great cheers 

the RHD mk2 carb throttle cable is the longest oem VW cable that fits mk1/2 pedal and 20v engine afaik, its definitely a RHD one you have right? should be 1360mm long

Wicked I must of got the wrong one sent to me because it ain't that long. Is it a certain year or anything don't suppose anybody has a link to the one I need please?

might be you ended up with a mk1 cable instead? those are a bit shorter at 1068mm and GTI versions shorter still

Yes that sounds like what has happened. Well I have ordered one of those ones now so I'll update the post with the out come. Thanks again for your help.
