Cant remove my tie rods!!!

Just fitted my spanking coilies, now onto the wishbones and other parts..Cant remove the tie rods from the rack. Seem like they are welded on, any ideas?
Also need the bracket for the ARB to wishbone, vw stoped them in 01/04/08!!!DAMN

To remove the tie rods you have to roll the rubber boot back and undo the locknut and then unscrew them from the rack. It's a bit of a bar steward to get into but not too bad!! I think a 30mm and 27mm spanner does the trick.

I found the same too re the brackets. Try crazy quif he might have some or may got some made up? After all there just steel strip and a couple of captive studs.

I had a go at this last night, but gave up as didn't have a suitable spanner for either the locknut or to fit the flats on the tie rods.

My selection of adjustables were of no use

Is it 30mm & 27mm I need to get ?

Can anyone confirm the sizes ?
