Mk Camping Trip 14/15th Sept - Grendon Lakes - ALL Welcome!

Not strictly just us mk lot! Anyones welcome!

Done some enquires for this who wanna join, I've made enquiries for 10 pitches - each pitch being a 6 - 8 man tent.

Emberton Country Park

Rally Fields
 
On the 14th and 15th September we have the Large and Overspill Rally fields available for hire. It has a water point and an Elson chemical waste water point.
There are public toilets just a short walk from these fields. There are no shower facilities.
The fields are adjacent to the River Ouse with views to Olney and Weston Underwood.
For exclusive use of a Rally field, it is £100.00 per night for up to 10 units. So this weekend would cost £200.00 for the whole group.
Payment for the field is payable on departure.
The field is accessible from 11am on the Friday and must be vacated by 4pm on the Sunday.
 
Touring field
 
On the 14th and 15th September we have space for 10 pitches with or with out electric. It has a water points and Elson chemical waste water points.
There are toilets with showers located in the corner of this field.
The field is adjacent to the static caravan park and a short walk to our recently modernised children's play area.
The cost of 10 pitches without electric for 2 nights is £440.00 and the same with electric hook-up will be £510.00

However - no fires what so ever!! So a possibility is

Grendon Lakes - water sport centre

3-4 man tents - £10 a night
5-8 man tents - £15 a night

You have a onside pub, showers and are allowed fire pits! And it's only 10 mins drive from Emberton! Plus water sports on site

Grendon Lakes sounds like the best option to me pub showers and fire what more do u need

And they do paintballing/wake boarding/ inflatable banana rides…. 😃 no doubt that will encourage some comments…

Let's go for grendon as a venue,

We just have to see who can make it, will double check tonight

Grendon looks nice and just down the road from us.

Electric hook up might be useful for music, charging, etc. We have a cable.

Is Geralds Ponds field worth it as only £30 for 2 nights if we get 10 pitches and close to the loos, hook up, exclusive use so get pitches together?

-   Whole Area can hired for large groups, rallies, clubs etc at a cost of  £300.00 for 2 night weekend.


I'd say so!  Obv if not booked out, works out same price as normal field x

Oh and Matt, you really really need to come :-) won't be camping without you and Steph!!

I am on call that weekend and have a project going live… I'll have to see how the project goes closer to the time.  Put me as a no for now but I'll try and get there even if there's no spaces left and we plant our tent a bit away.   … love having a job but projects suck.

by the way whatever venue we dont mind it's about the crack… mine lol….. is it fancy dress lol  :mrgreen:
