Another update without a photo of the car.
Bought a new wiper motor from a Fiat uno/fiorino so that I can do away with the linkage system
Been on removing the sound deadening over the weekend. Hours of fun with a scraper and a tin of cellulose thinners.
Just about finished that.
Also ended up buying some new seats from a Honda breakers that I spotted out on my travels. They're alcantara bolsters etc with cloth centres and red stitching. Theres a couple of small marks but nothing major. Just need some runners for them now.
And finally my mate Anthony found some photos of the car in old PVW magazines
(my red car is the one for sale in the bottom right as well)

I dont think its any standard colour. In the mag it said it was a Honda shade (similar to Angel blue used on old mopeds) but I'm not too sure.
In the end I've just matched it to the nearest paint chip I could find. Once the whole cars re-painted you'll never tell the difference……… I hope

I checked to see how similar Miami/ Florida/ Olympic blue was at a local paint supplier and they were too light and looked more what I'd class as a "baby blue".
I quite like the shade it is because its a little more greeny in low light conditions.
I seriously considered Angel blue but could find anywhere that could mix it so went for the chip instead.

ahh fair enough. on pics it does look similar to miami though. i agree with you on the florida blue, exactly the same as baby blue.
yeh the colour on it now is like a turquoise isnt it. when you looking at having it in paint?
