Fuel sender for 1.3 tintop

As the title says,

Need a fuel sender for a 1.3 carb tintop - mine seems to have been modified in some bizarre way and is causing some running problems.

Im in Leeds if anyone is local or happy to pay postage as it's not a big part!

I'll have a look in next couple of days, pretty sure I have one

Cool mate sounds good to me - Any chance of a pic first so I can see if it's the right one? I know what the right one looks like and know it's not the same as mine… sorry if it's a pain! Can text it to me or email it if that's any good?

Yeah I will get you pic to prove I do have it I know its the right one because it came off my mk1 1.3 Will report back.

Ha! I believe you, I'm just nervous about it being right - Been through a few of them, bought the right one last year but the guy who fitted it has butchered it and completely ruined it. Left me scratching my head about poor fuelling for a year because I was CERTAIN the fuel sender couldnt be the problem… What a pain.

Perfect working order.  Only removed it because I fitted Polo GT injection and needed to replace it with a lift pump.
