Welcome to the club Jay.
I also used to have a mk4 turbo that I swapped for my Rivage.
Get some pics up when you get it.

Le Castellets.
They came in 14" and 15"
Only the 15" were fitted to the Rivage.

plus it says on the ad webber carb fitted??
Pieburg carbs are okay if you set them up properley, there is a guide on here you show you how.
All I will say is roof, roof, roof.
Make sure the power top works ok and there are no rips tears etc, they will only get worse and it can be expensive to replace.
look for dips and hollows in the roof with it up and the frame arms poking through will suggest it needs a new top pad, check the headliner, the bit you see from inside the car, if its ripped etc, you will need to strip the roof completely to replace it.
just a few pointers.
