Lowering / slamming

Hi,

Im in for getting some ATS classics on the golf, with some 55 ish profile there will be a big gap to fill. I won't know untill i know but im predicting 30-40mm + mark to bring it down. What kits to get? to aviod! any milage in getting shorter shocks? I want to get this right first time and have seen springs for ?60 the set with 5 year warrenty! how does that sound?

Anybody run this setup and have any advice?

Running Koni SSK setup. Top adjustable dampers with 40mm drop springs. Ride seems pretty good so far. nly really need shorter dampers if you drop more than 40mm.
