From 1.6 to 2.0 8v what I need
if no prime sound then the ecu isnt powering up or there is a wiring issue. make sure thee is a wire between 30 and 30b on the fusebox, on the mk3 there is usually a red plastic jumper block here. make sure you have a 30 relay in slot 3 and 67/80/167 in slot 12

Ok the vag is ok, only a problem with immobilizer but resolve.
Now the problem is the lift pump: don't arrive the power. I try to connect direct power from the battery and it's work, but with the wiring nop.
What i check now?

lift pump gets power from the same wire as the main pump, if main pump is running then there is a wire fault on lifter, just trace the wires and fix the problem

I forgon to connect the pin with black cable to h2/2 now is connect… It's start!!! But i turn off and now it doesn't start more and the immobilizer don't leave us come in ecu with vag and do a noise like trrr trrrr trrrr

Ground problem now i can read the ecu.
I've only one error is the key signal to low.
I try to renew all but my vag can't do the work so i try using vag from dos but it doesn't recognize channel 00. Is it 0 the right channel?

signal too low could be the rerader coil for the chip is dead, you can use any mk3 golf and other vw/seat one from around 96-98 (look at the plug on the end, they differ on later cars)
when you say vag-com from dos, are you using a REALLY old version then? try this one:

what channel are you trying to read? the ecu is 01 and immobiliser is 25. unless you mean measuring blocks? if so you would be 01 engine, then 08 measuring blocks, then go up and down to read each section

try a later one, it should still work with your cable. bit nicer to use than ancient version
the key is matched to the immobiliser box not the reader coil,. so as i saay you can steal one from another car and fit it no problem. can be any mk3/vw/seat from around 96-98, surely you must have SOMETHING over there you can rob one from

There are another things that can do this error? I already do the rematch chip - immo - ecu.

if it was a mismatched chip it would say so, signal too low means exactly that, the signal from the coil reader is too weak

try taking the chip put of the key and tape it directly to the reader coil, but maybe you got 2 duff ones

no thats fine for an injection car!
does the car not even fire up then? if not then its not the immobiliser as that will only cut in a few seconds after the car fires
