yea i seen this the other day i love it when i see a mk1 golf on tv

its was on piston heads for sale in May this year £8600  25k on the clock.  I have the page from pistonheads saved ;-)

yep, you've gotta keep an eye on not only the market prices but people messing with the clocks ;-) I was considering it at £8600, but my kids would only wreck it..  at the moment I'm considering selling my rivage and getting a T4 (but will the wife let me buy a van  :roll: )

is there no way you could keep the golf away somewhere use it for the summer months as i do and have a T4 as well? :-)

Unfortunately not, I'd need funds from my rivage to buy the camper, plus at the moment when the entire family goes to a show we have to take 2 cars :-( . Its not set in stone yet anyway

My brother bought a builders T5 and is converting it himself in to a camper, very cheaply as well. I think he's spent £6500 so far and all he needs to do is get the bumpers colour coded and it's finished.
