Duran Duran Mk1

Yesterday's Mail on Sunday had a picture of John Taylor and his Mk1- he was about to take his driving test in the early 80s. Most of the reg is visible –K 263Y; I can't find it on the register but I wonder if it still exists or if anyone remembers it?
