1983 Cabrio Roof Shrunk?

My 1983 Cabrio has a big gap between the roof and the B pillar seal. Means water is getting in and running down runners onto the seats. I'm guessing it might have shrunk, if so what are my options. Images should be attached, it's the same on both sides same place.

You can make your own cables or there are some online but you need to check which length/ones you need as the roofs did change slightly over the years.

There are 2 lengths depending on the frame, early frames have the cable attaching on the front bow rod, the latter has a stud that sticks out the frame.
