Inner or outer lights, the Cabriolets had 2 styles of inner over the years the 88-93 had longer arms off the Brackets.
If they are cloudy, then the easiest way is to take the grill out, remove the bulbs.
Go to the Store and get Denture Tablets crush about 3 per light. top off with less than boiling water and let sit for over night
Pour out Rinse well then fill with hot less than boiling water 140 degrees or so, allow teh housing to get hot.
Pour out shake water out, then using a hair dryer heat the lens up to keep it hot until the last vestages of water evaporate out.

The back of them are metal that can be sanded and painted. If the glass and reflector inside are good.
These are off a 90 with the short attachments.
Here is a how do I remove them.

So I guess I am in the Dark which isn't unusual but if you post a picture of them then we can all see.

Thanks again but the part I'm chasing is the grey part that fixes the light in place and then the screw goes in to adjust it . In the photo you can see it clearly in the top right hand bracket
