SPONSORSHIP - GOOD CAUSE 10K run
I know this is a little cheeky seeing as there has been a few of these on recently, as some of yo know my dad is unwell at the moment, reason for this is a form of cancer called Myeloma, more can be found here at the MYELOMA WEBSITE
My dads condition isnt good, please see my other post here with more info
Now comes to the crunch, a lot of you have met me/know me and lets be honest, i'm overweight, would get out of breath running for a bus let alone a charity event so this run that I'm going to taking part in isnt just a 10k run for me, its also about me getting myself a little more in shape whilst doing what i can for the myeloma organisation..
Anything you can spare will be a great help, both as extra motivation for me to complete the run and also to raise as much money and awareness as possible, to view my sponsorship page and make a donation, please click MY SPONSORSHIP PAGE or if that doesnt work, just Steven Laws is fundraising for Myeloma UK
If anyone just wants to send me an amount to throw in the pot, please pm me and I'll send you my details
To help this organisation further I've decided to run in the London great run on the 20th July in Hyde Park, I'll be wearing a bright orange tee shirt with Myelome splattered across it
Thanks a lot guys n gals

I know it's not about you but you get what I mean, you're doing the event and I'm sure you'd like to know what YOU raised.
Tian.
Edit: Just looked at it again, I assume you want the money to directly to this area of research and not Cancer research in general, in which case I understand.

Do excuse my stupid but how do we sponsor you?
click the link above or below in my signature, that should (if its working) redirect you to a just giving webpage, then click the sponsor me now button and it should be there..
Only just set it up so not sure if its working or not
As to where it goes, I asked my dad about ti and he said the cancer research gets loads of donations and he would prefer it to go to the myeloma organistion as they have been brilliant in helping him and offer support to everyone who has this form of cancer
Thanks for asking mate

Are you going to run a poll where we can help decide on the outfit?
I should still have your address dude, so I'll just send a cheque.
Good luck with the run, I couldn't manage 10m let alone 10k

If I reach the target then we'll see..
no matter what the costume is tho, I'll still have to wear the bright orange Myeloma Tee shirt over it tho…

donated, yeh you have to dress up, reckon we need a poll to see what you should wear
Jase, I appreciate that a lot mate and I'm sure the charity will as well..
thanks a lot mate, will mean a lot to my dad to see it growing as well
As to costumes, if it gets to 1500, then I'll start a poll, if it hits the 2k mark that I'd love to achieve then i'll wear the costume, but will have the myeloma orange tee shirt on regardless…
nothing too outrageous tho as its for a great cause..
Plus I'll stand out like a saw thumb, big fat tattoo'd bloke with a red face panting like a crazy fool….

make sure you either go before you run, wear a nappy, or take a pooper scupper with you
There are too many online users to list.
