Service/Repair Docs from VW/Audi/Seat

Some of you may know this, but was everyone aware that you can pay for, and download sealed* PDF docs from VW, relating to servicing and repairing any VW made after 1969?

*Don't get too excited, there is a cost for each doc, and the sealed nature of the docs means that they can only be opened on the computer that they are downloaded to. It says that you can print them, but I'm having trouble doing so (could be my computer, I haven't really tried chasing it up).

The simple docs are ?4.60, with most of them being ?18.40 (about ?12.70), and some of them are over ?100.

They are fairly useful, but they do assume that you have access to all of the special VAG tools found in a main dealer's workshop.

You need a credit card and an email address.

that'll be good for people (like me) who have almost no history with they're car!

They are repair manuals not the service history of your car.

I have a complete set of genuine vw manuals for the mk 1 anyway so not much use to me

Sorry, just being cocky!!!! once i'm done with mk 1 golfs i will offer them for sale on here first before putting them on ebay….
