Where is the "module" the computer box that powers

hi been looking through the various forums and noticed that some one has had the same problem with there car and found it to be the "module" any ideas what this is and where it is located and will mine have one it is a mk1 1300 driver.

the module they are talking about is the TCI module which controls the ignition curve on a electronic dizzy (i.e if you don't have points in your dizzy it will have a spark curve pre set inside this little black box). On a GTI it is in the righthand side of the scuttle channel mounted on a silver piece of metal as you look into the engine bay.

the drip tray on a mk1 doesn't go all the way across so it should be visable if you have one. :wink:
