Yes I'm liking that finish.Backinblack said
Just picked them up.Backinblack said
So given up on my search for a local anodiser and took the parts to the guys that did my wheel refurbishment. They will blast clean and paint the parts for £20. Happy days. Should collect them in a couple of days.Backinblack said

What cost are you expecting.
Will they tell you if the casting is still in good order after cleaning before coating .
Love to see that before and after shot.

Good news here is the now picture
Bad new - the anodiser shut its doors 5 months ago. Haha
But the people I use for wheel powder coating is a option or a home anodising kit for £55 from eBay. Need to think on this one for a while and currently thinking powder coating to match my grey wheels.

Little by little part by part.
Ha I pictured a mad max warrior with a tin of chrome doing it …
Clearly more professional than them…

They look brilliant and for that price as well, dead cheap.
If I had that done over here it would cost me quadruple as much, I'd say about €100!

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

I had to replace the waterpump on my van in the middle of a state park, during a hellacious rain storm between the wedding and the wedding dinner….. Luckily I brought tools for my daughters car… and the bolt that I dropped she found…. I was on Gravel… Her car ran fine…..

Fitted an upgraded headlight loom
Replaced the corroded cigarette lighter with two USB ports
Rewired the stereo so it goes on and off with the ignition
Fitted an under seat subwoofer
Fitted a couple of 6x9 speaker boxes in the rear footwells
Somewhere between the subwoofer, the 6x9s and the wind deflector that I finally got to test out I can finally hear music properly with three roof down! Just got to tidy up the wires and tweak the settings on the sub.

Got loads of longing looks in Tesco’s metro car park but no one bold enough to talk to me.
Then put it back on the drive. I shall repeat this process about 4 times per week all summer with variation is shopping locations and passenger numbers.
Next job remove the fan and other scuttle bay parts and it with lots of sealer on the weekend.

- Polished the underside of the bonnet
- Finally worked out that the wrong screw was holding on the door card and that's why the black cap wouldn't fit. Found the proper screw and hey presto
