Top Fill Radiator

Sorry if this question has been asked many times before.......but i am planning on removing the expansion bottle and going for a top fill radiator setup but what radiator do i use? Is there an off the shelf model or will i need to fabricate one? i have a 1987 Golf GTI Cabby.

Hi Tom,
We would say this will be fine for the 1.8GTI - the knock on effects are the radiator fan will be on more often, the engine will still run at the same temperature though, as this is dictated by the thermostat.
The top fill we list is 430mm, your 1.8 is likely to of have a 480 or 525mm radiator fitted originally.
