Hi All
I have just purchased a Weber Carb to replace the original Pierburg on my clipper.
The carb and or the auto choke is playing up, and i have been told the weber (manual choke) is so much better than the Pierburg, so rather than spending any more time and money on it, the Weber seems the better option.
Has anyone done this ? if so can you give any advice or tips
Many Thanks

i have done the change over to my cabby, the pierburg was drinking fuel and now i can choose if it does with the twin webber. it was fairly straightforward as i remember. even fairly simple to run the manual choke cable. my problem was getting the air cleaner back on the top due to the added height of the carb and the clearance from the bulkhead but have fitted a new air cleaner and flexi-pipe now and that does the trick.
