1982 golf

I need the space so I am selling my 1982 Golf GL 1457cc
The MOT ran out a month ago but it as only done 10 miles since since it was MOT'ed,I believe the milage is true at 44000 after speaking to the first and second keepers(father & son) It's not the tidiest in the world and needs a bit doing to it but can be driven away;It is on a valuble number plate (?1400) on regtransfers

no mot and no tax can we assume? 3dr or 5dr? sunroof? climate control? you'll find people buying cars will not pay more for the plate unless it directly relates to them. why not sell the plate yourself?
 as for value? piece of string? depending on condition, scrap value upwards. by the sounds of the description alone and without viewing, i'd say you were massively overpriced.
 stick your location down too. it helps a bit.
