Cambelt cover and fan mounting

Can anyone tell me the original spec for these items… were they painted in matt or gloss paint?

And does anyone know the best stuff to use when I repaint them soon.

Mine were pretty rusty when I had them resprayed, however from looking at others I am sure that they should be matt. I recommend Satin Black. This seems to be indistinguishable from "origonal" items. If yours are badly pited like mine were then I would suggest using high build primer to fill these holes. Have yet to find a replacement sticker to go on the rocker cover!!!!

I did a post last July on the subject and just want to check before going ahead with the spraying.

I've got Ultimate Dubs coming up and will try and get it done for then!!!

Frost have "Under Hood Black" Satin finsh product but methinks you should speak to a sand blaster chappie first (then self etch prime - possibly also from Frost)
