Hood fouling on b-pillars during opening/closing
Yea I agree I could do with a comparison. Thanks for the offer. Derby is a bit of a drive for me but I'd like to get the roof working proper.
If possible would you be able to get some close-up pics of your roof? May help in some way. Could do with someone like yourself to have a gander at it as well though.

Hi did you ever solve this issue?
I'm experiencing exactly the same on my 1992 cabriolet with electric hood.
Any sharing of info about this would be awesome.
Thanx Shane

I no longer have the cabby I just grinned and bared it for a while. I was just careful when opening/closing. Ideally a 2 man job to prevent any fouling. If I was to go back I would strip the mechanism and compare it to a working one as a starting point.

I'm having similar issues though I did notice one of the support bars on the frame was bent on the side that was fouling (it's only one side on mine) I managed to get a crow bar on to it and it has helped it clear but I still also have a gap over the rear window I need to sort it.
Compare one side of the frame with the other - are there any obvious differences?
