my series 2 1.6 GTI
As I bought it
After a little work
So far the list of parts changed are
New number plates
larger GTI spolier
GTI front badge
removed eyebrow
repainted grille trim
painted VW badge
full service inc injector seals, dizzy cap, arm, new leads,filter and oil, new plugs
complete over haul of the gear linkage, including adjustment and new bushes every where.

Still have a few things to sort:
rear anti rol bar brackets ( one has snapped )
needs a new O/S front wishbone
tracking needs doing and a new door lock
Still it runs well and is saving me a lot of fuel compared to whats parked behind it :wink:
