Ace Cafe Meet - Tuesday 29th January - NW London
I hope your winter break was good, whatever you did. But now we're all back to the rat race! lol! I had her parents over for 5 days over christmas…. Especially enjoyed the trip to Oxford Circus… On boxing day… It was great…
Lol! Anyway, i'm pleased to say our first Ace Cafe meet of 2008 is on Tuesday 29th January. I looking forward to seeing you there. As one months dose of Ace was missed, it'll be good night to catch up with what's going on.
For anyone who hasn't been -
The usual monthly meet starts from 7pm. Please come as early as possible for parking inside.
For those still unsure meet is in West London just above Hanger lane off the M40 on the beginning of the North Circular A406 and about 1 hour away from Guilford, Essex Reading Etc all depending on Traffic and M25.
Unless you?re travelling from south - south east London and going through the centre of London you will not be charged for the congestion charges which finishes after 6:00pm now(i think! lol!).
Visit www.e1k-acecafe.co.uk for more details and the postcode for next to it are NW10 7NN.
On a serious note, I must warn that any racing or dangerous driving outside the Ace will not be tolerated. The meet is for people who enjoy the monthly occasion and take the opportunity to socialise with others.
Thank you for reading this and hope to see you all down there.
Mr V

You're right, theres not normally too many mk1s, but even at No-Rice etc there aren't too many at the moment, it's bloody cold out there.
ACE is popular as ever, the problem is it started to attract some complete morons. It's VW meet in west london, so it's pretty inevitable there will be big stereos and wheelspinning. Not ideal but could be a lot worse (Ie the ford/jap nights!)
We had a Dub-Marines meet there on Sunday after NY, was quality, noone there except us

I went last night, not a bad lot, was well behaved compared to ace meets of the vauxhall/ford likes.. Didnt think there was many from here tho, well not that came and said hello anyways.. couldnt miss me either..
Thanks to Tian for keeping us company most of the night, top bloke and rivage69…
Will be there next time, there was a good turn out from some sweet looking Caddy's, would be cool to cruise up there in mini convoy from berkshire. Lets sort it next time, but best way there is M4, M25, M40, then onto north circ, about 5 miles longer, but 20 minutes quicker..

Anyway it was great to see you Lawsy and your very lovely wife, :notworthy: made hanging about with you much more pleasureable. Well done for making the journey and for bringing the lights too, I owe you one in fact I wish I'd paid you more for them as they're in perfect nick. I'll have to buy you another drink or two.
RIVAGE69, I hope you get the leak sorted mate, your car sounded sweet as it went past me on the Circ'.

You shud of come over to the caddys where we were all stood.
We did pop over and hover with intent at one stage but I'm crap with names and cars and didn't recognise any rides so didn't like to barge in. I did see yours though, was it the one with the center exit exhaust?

I came past a few times, had a good look round. wasnt sure who was who and everyone looked in deep conversation.
Is yours the one with the centre exit rear pipes and the metalcheck flatbed?? Looked well tidy..
will say hello next time if you go up again..
