aha
The exhaust is sound and the brake pipes i think are a bit beyond my abilities…
I drained the fuel out and there is loads of crud in it - i'm wondering now how to get it out without replacing a perfectly good tank… I was thinking to somehow modify a hosepipe onto our vacuum cleaner….?
I got the filler neck off - was a real b1tch though - had to hack saw through the jubilee clips. Have prepped a replacement with hammerite but it started to rain cats and dogs so i'm hoping i can fit that back on tomorrow. The old filler was rusted with holes in it…
Once its all back together i'll soon know if all this hassle has made a difference….
cheers for the advice on the pump…

this way you can get to all the crap in there and do wat you want, then half fill with water again (blocking all holes) and weld it back up
