Anyone got a picture of the earth strap
I've got some electrical gremlins which I'm troubleshooting, and someone mentioned in another post of mine (can't quite remember who or where) that this may be the cause…
Thanks

Ah ha - yes I think I do - that's definitely missing from my car… I thought as much as there's all sorts of wierd things going on with my electrics.

I thought the earth strap was fitted to the right hand gearbox mount
I think there is also supposed to be one there…
Could I be a pain and ask someone for a photo of that one too?
Thanks

I had to fit that 'pictured' rocker cover earth to the drivers side strut as it didn't like being near the coil for some unknown reason

If you end up needing an earth strap from the chassis leg to the gearbox, I'm sure I've got a spare one in the garage somwhere
Awesome - yes please - I don't think that I've got that one on the car either. Are you going to Gaydon?

:dontknow: not 100% sure.. couldn't do any harm having it though
might mean my earth strap from chassis-gearbox is knackered
