can you spray a whole car with that though?
also i know you can get a small shotblasting kit, its like a sray gun put shoots out the powder.
finally is it powerful enough to use an air gun?
what is the recommened HP output of a compressor???

For spraying theres no reason why you can't do a whole car - its 25 litre so the pump cuts in frequently, but it keeps the pressure well enough for what i do with it. I'm really not sure on the shot or sand blasting thing though. It should be fine unless you blasting a massive area.
Air gun!!! it should be, but i've not tried it. depends on budget i suppose

would have to agree i have a sip 3hp 150l and its ideal does take up quite a lot of garage space though. Not sure how much you are gonna spend but i picked mine up in great working order hardly used for ?220 in the freeads. in the long run i'd say go as big as you can afford especially if you want to sandblast as you need pressure of around 6 bar if you had a small tank it would be trying to fill constantly at that rateCaiosG60PWR said
You should get a 3hp 150 litre really. If you want to sand blast and use air tools. I've got a Sealey one which has been great. SIP are worth looking at too.

Also if you want to do good sand/bead blasting you need a powerful compressor for sure.
There was a guy on eBay that sells the Sealey 150litre 3hp for about ?350 delivered, which is where I bought mine last year. (I sell Draper compressors but there not as cheap as the Sealey or SIP ones, will be getting some Sealey and sip ones in next month though)

Anyone want to buy my old one?
It works fine and is absolutely fine for spraying, just a bit wimpy for sanding etc.
