garage did me set up 2day help pls analysing results
results look great BUT
the spec sheet they used was for a EV code engine , mines a dx
will it make any difference
oh and whats a LAMBDA

oh and whats a LAMBDA
IYou have a LAMBDA probe that monitors burnt gas in the exhaust, fitted to cars with a Catalytic converter!!!
Description i found is
A system for monitoring the operatibility of catalytic converters and/or lambda probes in exhaust gas detoxification systems. It is characterised in that a pollutant sensor is placed downstream of (in relation to the exhaust gas stream) or in the catalytic converter, in that the lambda value and/or oxygen content of the exhaust gas are altered by a specific amount either by the engine or by a device, and in that the electrical output signal from the pollutant sensor is compared in a comparator circuit to a value curve stored in a storage unit and corresponding to the defined alteration of the lambda value
I would say they used it to measure the effective burn of your engine.

CO2 is carbon dioxide - Harmless to us but bad for the greenhouse apparently
not sure what COC is??
HC is hydro carbons - basically unburnt fuel (measured in PPM parts per million)
O2 oxygen - sure you know what that is
lambda :dontknow: - I think this is something to do with atmospheric pressure?
Pre cat cars, pre 1994 i think? are allowed 3.5% CO at idle IIRC Thats really the most inportant reading as far as MOT is concerned. This reading would be high if its running rich, also the HC's would be high as well. CO2 doesn't really matter. It'll fail on lambda if you've got an exhaust blow. I think a blocked air filter has the same effect as well.

Readings sound good. could probably afford to richen it up a bit. May give a little better performance.
