advice on front springs for abf conversion

I'm fairy sure I've got a 30+mm drop it's not dragging on the ground or anything I'm happy eth the ride height it's just under heavy cornering I feel the springs have too much travel causing the rubbing.
Does anyone have a non coilovers setup on a tdi/abf/vr6 setup? Just looking for advice on spring ratings and what would be more suitable for modified engines. I don't imagine there is a huge weight difference between 8v and 16v but I don't know how to go about measuring spring ratings without going out and buying multiple sets..

You need to check which springs you have there are a number of different H&R springs depending upon the car front and rear weight
