Its clever stuff and also comes with internet which also acts as a wifi hotspot for devices.
The red is stunning in the metal, it's called Tango Red and the metallic flecks are also red which makes it really stand out

First time I saw anything of a similar ilk was the range rover screen/instrument cluster, but didn't compare to this . Astounding indeed.

Just think what I could do to my Golf with that saving!
Also they say you cant retro fit sat nav.
Audi Germany questioned my order as I had not requested sat nav the reason was they wanted to point out it would seriously hamper resale value if not fitted. Little did they know I was intending to keep it for a wee while a bit like Dals Rivage.
Anyways still looking forward to her arriving next spring minus sat nav but not totally bereft of a few little extras.
Audi do offer two value for money no cost options a 10mm lower suspension setting the other free option is decal deletion.

As the TT is a surprise for my better half I concocted a visit to the Audi garage on another matter and in the showroom was an example of the one I have on order for her.
Suffice to say she was not impressed with the car sighting various reasons as to the complete impracticability of the car. Little did she know my first thought was the soft top but went with the hard top for practicality shopping , her golf clubs etc.
So I have a bit of work cut out before it arrives in Feb to change her views!!!!
In Feb this year the MK2 TT Coupe of choice was £24,630 and the soft top £26,645 without extras. Hope the extra dosh for the Mk3 is worth it.

(Is it wrong to insinuate it will not be exclusively driven by your wife alone?)
Btw, these cars handle themselves seriously good, even the rag tops. But when driving the latter, one must learn to live with a higher noise level.

Visited the Audi garage today on another related matter.
Was quietly taken to one side and informed me that they have just taken delivery of the TT and it was at the compound and would I like a quick look over her.
They need to carry out the pre delivery checks before they can release her to us.
She was sitting forlorn looking in the pound sat amongst other cars just waiting to be fired into life.
Not long now until we eventually get behind the wheel. Hope the wait has been worth it.
