what are the risks prior to a remap ??????????
with the ko3 i had a dyno run of 161hp and 199 lbs of torque.
im hoping to hit over 200hp !!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh rubjohnny i read one of your posts the other day ditching the accumilator , does a 20vt not need it then ? i thought the accumilator laminated the fuel in which case was fairly important ? thanks

Is this in a mk1 ?
Well if you have upped the fuel pressure then it will over fuel and run rich. Have you upped the pressure to allow greater fuel delivery from the same injectors ?
Isn't laminating something that you do to menus in restaurants !!
The accumulator is unique to the k-jet system, it helps to iron out pulses in the fuel as it is circulated around the car, also holds some pressure in the system to aid warm starting.
With an EFI system, it is not required.

Certainly from cold it will use more fuel as the amount injected relies purely on the injection map and engine tempo signals.
To be honest increasing the fuel pressure might not be needed if the injectors have enough capacity already to deliver the fuel for the larger turbo.
