Done nothing today as it's been windy and rainy GRRRRR!
Hopefully back on it tomorrow…
Just need to order a toffee wheel for the other side to get the old adhesive off, then get the rear arches polished and off to my mate for the stone foils to go on.

Well got a toffee wheel, brilliant, took the adhesive off the replacement front wing, spotless.
The rear was a different story though….The PO had the arches repainted at some point and they didn't clean all the old glue off, so got most of it off OK except for some bits that have been lacquered over…numpties!!!!
Back on it tomorow….
Cheers

However fixed the clock rev counter issue.
I must of knocked it when working on the clocks and didn't check when I rebuilt them back up.
So took them apart and just moved the needle anti clockwise till it read on the 0.
Need to get the plastic polish out and give the lens a good clean and buff up.

Nice day so took the motor out for a spin. Realised I lost them.
Got some now thanks to Borednow, so massive thanks.
Had the temp light flashing all the time and and bridging the coolant level sensor made no diffrence, nor did a new temp, all very plausible reasons.
It was bugging me greatly so took the clocks out again and cleaned up the blue mylar ribbon contacts, so nice and clean.
Then to make sure I had good contact between the connector and the foil I wrapped a couple or so turns of electrical tape over the plastic tab the ribbon fits over, this allows for a tighter fit and better contact.
All back together and no more flashing temp light. It may also help with other clock related issues.
