1 month to go!!! hows your plans going??
Rocker cover gasket swapped for the mk3 one thanks to Daves mate.
is the mk3 one better and the same for a GTI engine mate?
i bought a new one from VW which was poo, so was gona order a cheap cork one from the bay or GSF …
Nothing to do with the car just lack of funds to tax it.
Hope you can find the funds mate as looking forward to catchin up with you and seeing the car

Had 2 cork ones on since I got the car.
So got one of e bay inc studs that you need to swap over.
Got it from tierod.
About £14.00 inc p and p.
Deffo worth doing as it comes in one piece.

Carl any pics of the mk3 gasket? Sounds like a good solution to the cork ones. I might do the same when swapping over rocker covers.
Here's a link to the Heritage one, I got mine from VW.Ax

It's all one piece where as the cork has that little half moon bit that never fits and then once you tighten down the bits either side squish out leaving the gap that chucks oil out.

Top man, seen the project Sportline he has.
Very nice once he's finished.
Bits arrived for my project only orderd them yesterday!
Just one bit remaining to come.
Just need someone to lend me a compressor and spray gun and some sunshine so I can get painting.
