Pics from Classic Car Show at the NEC (13th Nov)
Great to catch up with the guys and gals on the MK1 Owners stand - good mix of cars :-) and as friendly as ever.
I took a few pics when you were not looking !!!
The engine detailing on the cabby was amazing - top stuff.
Ant, you really need to clean that engine up !!
Thanks Corky Golf for letting us stash our coats in your splitty - looking as pristine as ever !!
Hope you all enjoy the pics, it is still on tomorrow, well worth a visit !!

Ant, I asked why your bonnet was shut, too dirty came the reply. Well just had to have a picture then, Sir Gammy was then brougt in to lead the covert operations. He moved swiftly and with deft of hand the pins were released :-) and that was it the bonnet was up. It immeadiately drew a crowd, curious on lookers to see the best engine for a MK1 !!! Oh and by the way, it is not that dirty :-)
Great catching up again, must try and get to the monthly meets, work always seems to get in the way !!

I didn't take many phoytos around the show, due to the lighting playing havoc with the camera and knowing plenty of photos will eventually be submitted once the show closes tonight.
Ant, your engine bay looks clean here

I think it was about 4:30 when we got round to Hall 1, having started at about 10 in the bike show and worked backwards - don't ask; the show's getting too big to do in a day even if you don't do all the autojumble etc, but what that means to me is that we've established a presence at the top event.
Cheers to all and hope you all had a good journey back.
