pop em off and stick ur finger on one end and suck the other, if you hear hissing you know its them
if theres a crack, over night the fuel will run back into the tank so it will be like starting it afte running out of petty every morning.

just under the bonnet as this should be the only place for the lines to be rubber.
i have a 1.1 and they run form the back left of the engine bay up to the lifter pump, (i think yours is electric) and then from the pump to the carb.
sorry i can offer any more help, just look for the fuel pump, or the fuel filter, if you find them your onto a winner

1.5 has a mechanical pump and rubber hoses at both ends of the 2x fuel lines.

so the setup is slightly like my ickle 1.1
so they do come up the same side then i take it?
