Mk1 C Formel E 1983

Hello just brought this mk1 for my son whos just turned 16 so we can spend a year working on it  as his 1st car.

Was a bit of a good find , won it very cheap of ebay expecting to have to do a lot of welding  respray & engine work.
Very pleased when got it home to get up on a lift to find it looks like she may go straight through an MOT  :D

We had to travel from Lincolnshire down to Kent for it, it had been stood SORN for 4 years ,paint all green with mold & faded orange
A small hole at the bottom of the windscreen where rain had got in so the carpets were soaked & green too.

But for that price ( £275 ) took the chance  A-framed it up & towed home.

Like i said looked fine underneath ,so we set to that same afternoon washing Tcutting & loads of polish the body removing the trim to clean all the green grim out

I'm taking loads of pics on the way Looking good so far  :D

I was watching that! If it was closer to home, I might have been bidding!

You turned that around quickly too - Well done!

Looks tidy, a good rescue. Not sure what going on with the radiator?

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

Thanks ,its coming on only had two week, think the rad brackets must have bust off & someone's tried to mend with a cable tie & bracket

Rear carpets all out to wash & clean & check the floor for rot ( all OK )

It's nice to see another Formel E eventually going back on the road!

I love mine - it's not quick but it's awesome for a lads first car.
