Hi my golf looks way to high as you can see
C:\fakepath\attachment-2.jpeg

At the moment it has 35mm lowering springs sports shocks and dampers

I want it to look like this
This was when it was on coilovers with previous owner but he removed due to saying coilovers was shocking ride on this car.

I've been looking to change the lowering springs from 35mm to 70mm front and 60mm rear the only set I can find is v max but I have been told these will be to hard. Does any one know I good make that does this set up and do you think it will be ok.
It's a golf driver with 2lABF running 195/45/15.
Please help?

Did you change the bumps stops for shorter ones? If not you may be driving about on the bump stops so that's why it's not getting any lower.

It's not on coilovers mate its on 35mm lowering springs as the bottom pictures shows but I want it to look like the top picture.

Even with the standard springs and shocks there should be bump stops and if they are the original length you may be driving about on them so the car will not drop any lower, I know as it happened to me when I did lower mine so I had to cut them down.
You can check by either bouncing the car and see if it's really stiff or get your hand up behind the wheel as see if the bump stop can be moved up or down, or jack the car up and pull the bump stop and cover all the way down the shock then lower the car to the ground give it a little bounce then jack it back up and if the bump stop is back all the way at the top you may be driving on rubber bump stops.

Has any one used lowering springs of 80mm front 60mm rear? Any problems?
