So far Iv had:
New genuine injectors and seals
Fuels pressures checked (all ok)
Full set up fueling set to 1.8 co
New non return valve (check valve)
Replaced the ends on vacuum pipes
Plugs,leads,rotor arm,cap,coil,ignition module,fuel filter
Is there is any other things to look for? I thinking of stripping the metering head to check for build up of crud
Any help is much appreciated

If yours is a 84+ Cabrio the DXs have extra gubbins for idle stabilisation and other stuff that the tin tops don't have. More to go wrong when 30+ years old…….
Fuel accumulator
The fuel accumulator maintains the pressure in the fuel system for a certain time after the engine has been switched off. When the engine is running it serves to deaden the noise of the electric fuel pump. After the engine has been switched off, the fuel accumulator maintains the pressure in the fuel system in order to facilitate re-starting, particularly when the engine is hot.

Next get your assistant to try and start the car as you lift the disk - if she starts then it could be something as simple as a sticking plunger, but most probably the metering head is worn out. Dano had the same battle for ages.
funk-star does exchange metering heads or there is a company that sells refurb kits.

In addition to the replacement metering head from funk-star , I also 'hoovered' out the petrol tank and made sure that any rust (and there was a lot) was taken out. A new filter was also put on and a second hand fuel pump that the garage had in stock from years ago.
Touch wood, the problem hasn't reoccurred.
