mk1 golf AUQ engine conversion wiring faults idles but dont rev

Post

hey guys.

im half way through doing a AUQ conversion and having some major issues.

ive wired in the DBW ecu and pedals, finally got it all wired up it cranks for a while eventually fires to life, sometimes after 2 or three tries. for some reason I have a throttle pedal fault, even though all the reinvent wires go to the correct pins. ive carried out resistance checks and the pedals working correctly, ive done throttle body adaptions via 060 in VAG COM and via a snap on modis.

I have the following faults:

manifold pressure boost sensor g31 signal to low.
powertrain data bus missing message
crash sensor implausible signal
manifold barometric pressure sensor g71 implausible signal
evap purge valve open circuit
oxygen heating circuit b1s2 open circuit
secondary air pump relay open circuit
secondary injection solenoid valve n112 open circuit
camshaft positrion sensor g40 signal to high
accelerator position sensor to high signal to low.

I did have a crank sensor fault that was a duff sensor so that's gone. the cam sensor, ive checked all wiring, all goes back to the correct pins on ecu, and I've replaced the sensor as well but this will not go. im thinking the throttle issue is causing the poor cranking fault chucking up a cam fault.

now ive been over the wiring various times and seem to be missing something but cant put my finger on it,

it runs, it idles, just wont rev

I know the fault is the throttle pedal, how ever ive tried the ecu in my Ibiza 20VT and it starts, and ive put the pedal in and it revs, so I know its not a faulty ecu or pedal

just don't know where to go, I think I must be missing a wire somewhere.. or forgot to wire up a sensor that's required

cheers in advance!

Sounds like an earth issue to the ecu as a few of these faults have a common earth from the ecu, pin 108 brown/blue.
Possibly not that that's causing it though more likely an earth feed to the ecu thats not connected or not good enough.
