stretch tryes also take away from ride comfort, something to get used to it you like how it looks, or change.

It was a harsh ride even a road that seemed straight with no potholes felt like I was driving on cobbles.
Everything eventually shook its self loose I.e dash….. Unfortunately if its stance your after and can't afford air ( cheating) then your going to have to live with it.

Getting comments everywhere I go…lots of admirers and stuff….suppose you can't get comfort and look cool at the same time hey!…and defo can't afford air!
Cheers again…

might want to look into strut top extensions; moves the top mount of the coilover higher, allows you to raise the coliover higher to get a better ride.

theres look better than some as well
in the short, it places the top mount of the strut 1.5 inches higher, means that you can unwind the coilover by this distance, keep your current ride hieght but allow the damper and coil not to work under such large compression giving a better ride; in short.

my other thoughts would be to cut and reweld the strut, pull up to the height you want; would take longer, but think would feel safer and look factory with a lot of work
a bit like this (large pic, sorry)

i personally don't mind the harsh ride, i have a mk4 deisel as well, which rolls around and just feels unsafe, prefer bone breaking stance.
