North West meet - Thursday 30/7/15

Following on from the AGM I'd like to propose a July meet on Thursday 30/7/15 from 7pm onwards.

I went to to the original location at the top of Parbold Hill the other night and it's a nice location.The pub is now called Miller & Carter, Parbold Hill, Parbold, WN8 7TG.

The pub has a good sized car park for us to line up and on a good night great views of Lancashire. Bring a jacket because it's windy up there!!!

Driving home this evening got me wondering if we should do a drive next Thursday. 

If we meet at Parbold at 7pm we could have a mooch to Lytham for a quick drink.

36thcrazyfist the meet location isn't far from the last place we met at, only its a nicer venue - and car park if you can have a nice car park!!!! 
Lytham is about 30-40 minutes from
there. 

Yeah I had a look and I'm not fussed about that, it's about 40minutes to the meet, then 40 mins to the next stop and then 1h 30m + back, and all on a school night haha

Its a possible for me.. Although I am prepping the car for Tatton Park this weekend. If I fancy it, I'll get there for 7. Back to where it all began..

Drive out is only a suggestion. Folk like doing something different.

Just found this - Mk1 is on SORN at present waiting for a couple of things to be done including solving a problem with the fuel pump that doesn't seem to be the pump or the relay or the fuse box, but we'll get there.

Things at work are quickly overtaking me before my summer leave folks. I doubt that I'll make the meet on Thursday despite suggesting that date. Very sorry everyone I hate doing this.

If you all wish to still meet up I think that would be good to keep things going - the the view from the top of Parbold Hill is great!!!

How many are actually going? Is it worth postponing for a week?
