Hi to all.
I'm new to this forum, i have been posting on the South African VW Club Forum for a while now, thought it's time you guys see what we do.
Don't get me wrong, I will trade my new golf for a old one anytime, but i'ts the same shape, so here goes.

As I got it a year ago, bought used with 140000km on the clock, one previous owner, paid R45000-00 (roughly 4500 pounds…….) got to love that exchange rate huh?
hahahahaha. Anyway, Pictures!!!!

Thanks!

We don't have very good roads here, and I use this car daily, so no coilovers.

On with the thread.
The car had a few dents when i bought it, one was a nasty scratch on the left fender,
which was starting to gather rust and is not good, so I decided to fix it up a little just to stop it gettin worse.
I am planning to replace this with a new fender soon.

A few mods later and some new 15x8J borbets and it looked like this, also tried some original bumpers, but they were very old and abused. So I took them of shortly after.

Oh BTW. These brakes are upgraded discs made by ATE and available as a plug and play mod for the citi golf. Calipers are standard, about the same as what you would find on late model mk2 and mk3. Just painted them red.

So after a month or so this happened to my rims! Hate our roads. -1 borbet & -1 Yokohama

So I went in search of steelies. Which is much harder here by the way.

I found these 15x6J rims from a hyundai i20. I had the bore dia increased slightly and painted them. They went from black, to silver, to orange and then to white.
