well iv been having a few ideas and suggestions, one that im tempted by is to convert it to a dash from a 6n1 polo? opinions and if anyone has done this how easy/hard isit and any tips on how to do it like extra parts or just a quick how to? thanks

Nice little bargain that. You can transform it in a lot of ways with just some elbow grease and some time, although I'm sure you will have to throw some money at it.

For me personally I'd stay with the original dash, but I'm a bit of an originality geek! Polo dashes have gone in MK1s before but I'm not sure if it's any more tricky on a Cabby due to the extra bracing under the dash?

???

Must have had a mk2 dash fitted before you had it then, as the cabby should have the same as the tin top.

I have a 6N polo/ibiza dash in mine.
Not sure if it is a 1 or a 2 though. Pics in my build thread - link in my signature.
